By ordering you agree to our payment, shipping, and returns policies. Custom work requires a deposit and agreed timeline.

General terms

By accessing and placing an order with Riverclay Pottery, you confirm that you are in agreement with and bound by the terms of service contained in these Terms & Conditions.

Products and pricing

  • All prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes for US customers.
  • Due to the handmade nature of our products, slight variations in color, size, and texture are normal and not considered defects.
  • Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to limit quantities.
  • We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.

Orders and payment

  • Orders are confirmed once payment is successfully processed.
  • We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and billing information.

Custom orders

  • Custom orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to begin production.
  • The remaining balance is due before shipping.
  • Lead times are estimates and may vary based on complexity and kiln schedules.
  • Custom pieces are final sale unless they arrive damaged or significantly different from the agreed specifications.

Returns and refunds

Please refer to our Shipping & Care page for our complete returns policy. In summary:

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused items in original packaging.
  • Custom pieces are final sale unless defective.
  • Damaged items should be reported within 48 hours with photos.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including images, text, and designs, is the property of Riverclay Pottery and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of liability

Riverclay Pottery shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our products or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.

Governing law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.
